Dubai – Mubasher: UAE gross domestic product (GDP) is forecast to reach AED 1.8 trillion by the end of 2016, said minister of economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri on Saturday.
The GDP widened 209% year-on-year to AED 1.58 trillion from AED 511 billion, the minister stated in the economic annual report.
Fixed prices grew by 3.8% in 2015 as compared with 3.1% by 2014, the report revealed.
Earlier, the minister told Mubasher that the GDP is likely to grow 3-3.5% during 2016 and to cross 4% over the coming fiscal year amid the re-recovery of oil prices.
