Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Bahrain International Exchange suffered losses during the third quarter of 2016 against profits in the same period a year ago.
The company posted losses of about KWD 1,510 ($4,950) in Q3-16, versus earnings worth nearly KWD 88,700 ($290,400) in Q3-15, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
During the nine-month period this year, losses stood at about KWD 154,300 against a net profit of KWD 371,000 in the same period a year ago.
According to a previous bourse filing, the company’s board on Thursday has proposed a 10%-cash dividend, with a total value of KWD 462,000.
