Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar (USD) steadied against the Egyptian pound (EGP) in early Thursday's trade at Egypt-based banks.
The highest X-rate for bid was provided by Crédit Agricole at EGP 17.9 per dollar, while the lowest rate for asks was offered by Banque du Caire at EGP 17.85 a dollar.
The pair was traded at EGP 17.6 for buying at Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, CIB and the National Bank of Egypt.
The Central Bank of Egypt set the average exchange rate at EGP 17.76 for buying and EGP 18.16 for sale.
