Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse (BHB) witnessed a positive performance in November, on the back of both investment and banks sectors.
BHB’s main index levelled up 2.2% to end the month at 1,174.12 points as compared to 1,148.83 points by the end of October.
Over the month, turnover increased to BHD 13.38 million from BHD 11.4 million in October, while trading volume shrank to 54.76 million shares from 57.5 million in the previous month.
The investment segment gained 5.5%, and the banks sector levelled up by 2.07% during November.
Meanwhile, the services and industrial sectors retreated by 1.47% and 0.64% respectively.
