KSA public debt hits SAR342nm

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Finance announced issuing domestic debt instrument worth SAR 97 billion ($25.87 billion) until the end of September 2016, along with $10 billion (SAR 37.5 billion) international syndicated loans arranged in May 2016.

The Kingdom’s public debt thus reached SAR342.4 billion in total, the ministry stated.

After releasing dollar-denominated international bond at $17.5 billion in October 2016, the government issued a total of SAR 200.1 billion in public and international debt instruments

The Debt Management Office (DMO) assured that the ministry will resume issuing public debt instrument during the coming fiscal year 2017
