e-finance’s standalone profits exceed EGP 390m in H1-23

Cairo – Mubasher: e-finance for Digital and Financial Investments registered EGP 390.22 million in standalone net profit after tax during the first half (H1) of 2023, an annual hike from EGP 221.21 million.

The company registered EGP 362.22 million in revenue during January-June 2023, higher year-on-year (YoY) than EGP 217.63 million, according to the income statements.

Basic earnings per share (EPS) rose to EGP 0.18 during H1-23 from EGP 0.10 in the year-ago period.

Total assets hit EGP 4.23 billion as of 30 June 2023, versus EGP 4.31 billion as of 31 December 2022.

Financials for Q2-23

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2023, the EGX-listed firm posted non-consolidated net profits after tax standing at EGP 62.27 million, up from EGP 8.21 million a year earlier.

Revenues amounted to EGP 53.75 million in the April-June 2023 period, while the basic EPS hit EGP 0.10.

Dividends

The company’s board members proposed EGP 318.43 million as cash dividends for H1-23. Once obtaining the approval of the shareholders, the firm will pay out a dividend of EGP 0.17 per share.

In Q1-23, e-finance witnessed YoY higher standalone net profits after tax at EGP 327.94 million, compared to EGP 213 million.
