Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) reappointed Malek Al Malek as the Chairman for the board’s new term.
The board members announced, on 21 March 2024, Ahmed Julfar as the Vice Chairman, according to a bourse statement.
Julfar will continue his duties as the company’s Managing Director until the end of September 2024.
Earlier this month, the UAE-based telecom firm and Samsung joined forces to boost the business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) segments.
In the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2023, du logged net profits worth AED 1.66 billion, an annual surge of 36.80% from AED 1.21 billion.
