Riyadh – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 299 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2022, an annual leap of 109.09% from SAR 143 million.
Revenues jumped by 14.66% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.67 billion in the January-September 2022 period, compared to SAR 5.81 billion, according to the initial income statements.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.33 in 9M-22, higher than SAR 0.16 in 9M-21.
In the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, Zain KSA reported a 41.67% surge in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 85 million, versus SAR 60 million in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the revenues grew by 15.27% YoY to SAR 2.28 billion in Q3-22 from SAR 1.98 billion.
On a quarterly basis, the Q3-22 net profits after Zakat and tax plunged by 36.57% from SAR 134 million in Q2-22, whereas the revenues went up by 3.67% from SAR 2.20 billion.
During the first half (H1) of 2022, the Saudi company registered SAR 214 million in net profit after Zakat and tax, a hike of 157.83% from SAR 83 million in H1-21.
