Riyadh – Mubasher: Southern Province Cement Company has appointed Saad bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulwahab Al Kroud as Chairman of the board.
The firm also named Mansour Abdulaziz Mansour Al Saghayer as the Deputy Chairman, according to a bourse disclosure.
The two official assumed their roles for a new session that began on 1 January 2024 and will remain in position until 31 December 2026.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2023, the company posted 49.16% lower net profits after Zakat and tax at SAR 121 million, compared to SAR 238 million in 9M-22.
Revenues dropped by 8.46% to SAR 812 million in 9M-23 from SAR 887 million in 9M-22, while the earnings per share (EPS) plunged to SAR 0.87 from SAR 1.70.
