Senergy Holding to enter Syrian market, has no plans for Egypt

Mubasher: Kuwait-based Senergy Holding Company is planning to enter the Syrian market, according to Aljarida newspaper.

The company is also planning to acquire companies operate in its field, an informed source told Aljarida, adding that Senergy had no intentions to exit any of its subsidiaries.

The source maintained that Senergy was not planning to enter the Egyptian market, noting that it would be on its future agenda.

Senergy is focusing on investment opportunities in both local and the GCC markets, along with Iraq, the source revealed.  

Earlier in May, the Boursa Kuwait-listed company 4.5% year-on-year increase in losses during the first quarter of 2019.
