Savola in talks to buy Sanabel Al-Salam at SAR 1.13bn

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Savola Group on Monday said it is holding discussions with Sanabel Al-Salam, the producer of sweets and confectionery to buy the firm at a value of SAR 1.13 billion ($300 million), sources reported.

Savola plans to increase the quality of its sweets and to vary it, Reuters reported, citing sources who preferred not to say their names as saying.

Other local media sources reported that Sanabel Al-Salam denied the talks with Savola to buy its company.
