SNB’s net profits exceed SAR 20bn in 2023

Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits of Saudi National Bank (SNB) increased by 7.69% to SAR 20.01 billion in 2023 from SAR 18.58 billion in 2022.

The clients’ deposits amounted to SAR 590.05 billion in 2023, up 3.83% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 568.28 billion, according to the financial results.

During the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2023, the earnings per share (EPS) grew to SAR 3.23 from SAR 3.03 a year earlier.

SNB registered assets valued at SAR 1.03 trillion last year, higher by 9.69% than SAR 945.49 billion in 2022. Meanwhile, the investments climbed by 4.20% to SAR 269.12 billion from SAR 258.29 billion.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2023, the Saudi lender generated SAR 15.04 billion in net profit, a rise of 8.92% from SAR 13.81 billion in 9M-22.
