SAIC logs 159% higher profits in H1-21

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Advanced Industries Company (SAIC) reported an increase of 159% in net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 33.84 million in the first half (H1) of 2021 from SAR 13.05 million in H1-20.

Earnings per share stood at SAR 0.68 in the January-June 2021 period, up from SAR 0.26 in H1-20, according to the income statements on Wednesday.

Revenues jumped by 123.7% to SAR 39.03 million in H1-21 from SAR 17.44 million in H1-20.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, SAIC achieved a leap of 257% in net profits to SAR 16.79 million from SAR 4.7 million in Q2-20.

Revenues also soared by 188% to SAR 19.34 million in Q2-21 from SAR 6.71 million in Q2-20.

Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), the net profits in Q2-21 decreased by 1.5% from SAR 17.05 million in Q1-21, and the revenues went down 1.7% from SAR 19.69 million.
