Qatari Investors' profits rise 5.4% in Q4-17

Mubasher: Qatari Investors' profits increased 5.4% year-on-year to QAR 59.81 million ($16.43 million) in the fourth quarter of 2017.

In 2017, the group’s net profits jumped 8.7% to QAR 253.06 million from QAR 277.04 million in 2016, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 2.04 in the period ended 31 December 2017 from QAR 2.23 in the same period the year before.

The group’s board recommended distribution of cash dividend of 7.5% from the share's par value or QAR 0.75 per share for 2017.

In the first nine months of 2017, Qatari Investors’ profits declined 12.3% to QAR 193.25 million versus QAR 220.31 million in the first three quarters of the prior year, according to a previous statement.
