Oriental Weavers generates EGP 12.5bn consolidated sales in H1-25

Cairo – Mubasher: Oriental Weavers logged consolidated net profits after tax worth EGP 1.11 billion in the first half (H1) of 2025, an annual plunge from EGP 1.47 billion, according to the financial results.

The company reported net sales amounting to EGP 12.56 billion as of 30 June 2025, higher year-on-year (YoY) than EGP 10.77 billion.

Standalone Results

In the first six months (6M) of 2025, the group witnessed higher standalone net profits after tax at EGP 1.86 billion, compared to EGP 1.73 billion in the year-ago period.

Non-consolidated sales jumped to EGP 4.39 billion in H1-25 from EGP 4.16 billion a year earlier, while the earnings per share (EPS) wet up to EGP 2.80 from EGP 2.63.

Quarterly Financials

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the consolidated net profits after tax retreated to EGP 565.88 million from EGP 914.60 million in Q2-24. Meanwhile, the net sales enlarged to EGP 6.16 billion from EGP 5.74 billion.

As for the standalone business, the net profits plummeted to EGP 99.88 million in Q2-25 from EGP 355.87 million in April-June 2024, while the net sales grew to EGP 2.06 billion from EGP 2.01 billion.

In the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2024, Oriental Weavers recorded an annual rise in consolidated net profits after tax to EGP 2.54 billion, compared to EGP 1.89 billion.
