Mubasher: Japanese stocks saw a positive performance on Monday, in line with the rise of the US dollar advanced against the Japanese yen.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 went up 0.8% to stand at 19,155.03 points, its highest level since mid-December 2015.
The broader Topix index gained 0.4% to reach 1,531.43 points.
The yen was 0.23% weaker against the dollar by 7:00am GMT.
