Mubasher: National Securities Company has achieved losses of OMR 181,770 ($470,770) in the second quarter of 2017 versus profits of OMR 407,720 ($1.06 million) in the same period last year, according to the company’s financial statements.
The company also turned to losses in the first half of the year against profits of OMR 336,480 in H1-16, according to the company’s statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) on Monday.
The board of directors has recommended restructuring the company’s capital to offset some of the accumulated losses from previous years, as per a separate bourse filing.
