National Securities approves annual losses

National Securities held its ordinary and extraordinary general meetings on Tuesday to approve the financial statements of the fiscal year ended 31 March, 2015.

The shareholders permitted to authorize the board a limit of OMR 5,000 to be made as donation for charitable purposes during the next financial year, according to a bourse filing.

It is noteworthy that the Omani securities company suffered losses worth OMR 1.027 million ($2.6 million) in the fiscal year ended 31 March, 2015, against earnings of about OMR 708,320 ($1.8 million) in the same period of 2014.
