Mubasher: Kuwait National Cinema’s shareholders approved to distribute a cash dividend of 50 fils per share for the full fiscal year 2018 during a general assembly meeting held on Tuesday, 23 April.
Total dividends amount to KWD 4.64 million, representing 50% of the company’s capital, according to a bourse filing.
Dividends will be eligible for shareholders who are registered in the firm’s registries in the maturity date on 14 May, while distributions will take place on 20 May.
The company’s shareholders also elected a new board for the coming three years.
Kuwait National Cinema’s profits decreased by 18% to KWD 8.34 million in 2018, from KWD 10.17 million in 2017.
