Mubasher: The National Petroleum Services (Napesco) achieved a year-on-year increase of 19.4% in profits during the second quarter of 2019.
The profits grew to KWD 3.39 million ($11.17 million) in Q2-19 from KWD 2.84 million ($9.36 million) in Q2-18, according to a bourse disclosure on Thursday.
During the first half of 2019, Napesco recorded a growth of 13.2% in profits to KWD 5.76 million, compared to KWD 5.09 million in the corresponding period a year ago.
Napesco has ascribed the increase in profits to higher sales during the period.
It is worth noting that during the first quarter of 2019, Napesco posted a rise of 5.3% in profits to KWD 2.37 million, compared to KWD 2.25 million in Q1-18.
