Malath Insurance’s revenues exceed SAR 1bn in 9M-25; accumulated losses unveiled

Riyadh - Mubasher: Malath Cooperative Insurance Company (Malath Insurance) logged SAR 17.18 million in net profits after Zakat attributable to the owners during the first nine months (9M) of 2025.

The 9M-25 generated profits were 0.25% higher than SAR 17.14 million in 9M-24, according to the financial results.

The earnings per share (EPS) remained unchanged at SAR 0.34 in the January-September 2025 period when compared to 9M-24.

Insurance revenues surged by 52.84% to SAR 1.07 billion in 9M-25 from SAR 701.46 million in 9M-24.

Results for Q3-25

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, Malath Insurance posted SAR 631,000 net profits after Zakat attributable to the owners, signaling a 88.63% decrease from SAR 5.55 million in Q3-24.

The insurance revenues reached SAR 366.08 million in Q3-25, reflecting an annual surge of 35.71% from SAR 269.74 million.

Quarterly, the Q3-25 net profits plummeted by 90.54% compared to SAR 6.67 million in the April-June 2025 period, while the revenues went up by 0.03% from SAR 365.95 million. 

Accumulated Losses

Malath Insurance reported accumulated losses worth SAR 90.87 million, representing 18.17% of the company’s SAR 500 million capital, at the end of September 2025.
