Mubasher: Bahrain National Holding (BNH) said major shareholder Abdulhamid Zainal raised his equity in the company to 5.77%, through purchasing 9,120 additional shares at a total value of BHD 3,610.
The company said earlier its second-quarter net earnings increased from BHD 711,000 to BHD 829,000.
Net profits for the first half of 2015 increased by 5.17% year-on-year from BHD 2.34 million to BHD 2.46 million.
