Major events to be seen on EGX on Sunday

Traders and investors on the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) are expecting several events on Sunday with regards to listed companies.

Several ordinary general meetings (OGMs) are set to convene today, including that of Nile Sugar Co. and El Orouba Securities Brokerage (EOSB), which will approve their respective company’s financials for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2014.

The OGM of Misr Kuwait Investment and Trading Co (MKIT) is also slated for Sunday and will discuss the approval of the board’s 10% dividend recommendation amounting to 2.5 cents per share.

GB Auto’s OGM will approve financials, the general budget and the profit and loss account for the year ended 2014.

Moreover, Sunday marks the end of the division of nominal value of Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation from EGP 10 to EGP 5, with issued capital to remain the same at EGP 28 million divided on 5.6 million shares.

Finally, subscription in the capital increase of Middle East Glass Manufacturing (MEGM) ends today. The hike amounts to EGP 10.32 million for a total of 10.32 million shares in addition to an issue premium of EGP 188.5 per share.
