MIS inks deals exceeding SAR 278m in value

Riyadh - Mubasher: Al Moammar Information Systems Company (MIS) cemented its position in the information technology sector by signing four deals worth a combined value of SAR 278.07 million in December 2023, according to bourse disclosures.

The most substantial agreement was valued at SAR 152.70 million including the value-added tax (VAT) and was signed with an undisclosed legal entity to cover the subscription and application services for computer information systems. Signed on 20 December, this six-year contract is expected to deliver a positive financial impact starting from the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 and until Q4-29.

MIS also won a project worth SAR 24.87 million in value with the National Center for Government Resources Systems (NCGR) to address its backup and storage needs. This one-year contract, which was signed on 24 December, will provide NCGR with comprehensive solutions for information systems, infrastructure, backup, storage, archiving, and related services, with anticipated financial impact in Q1-24.

Additionally, MIS was awarded a project to operate the digital infrastructure for the Human Resources Development Fund at a value of SAR 39.24 million, including VAT. The contract, awarded on 5 December 2023, was scheduled for signing on 5 January 2024.

Finally, the company disclosed signing a SAR 61.24 million contract with NEOM Tech and Digital Company to provide manpower for digital departments. This 15-month agreement is forecast to have its financial impact on MIS during the period from Q4-23 to Q4-24.

On 3 December 2023, MIS signed a contract worth SAR 63.50 million with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority to cover the renewal of Microsoft licences.
