Cairo – Mubasher: Kahira Pharmaceuticals achieved net profits of EGP 102.9 million in the first nine months of fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, up by 11.6% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 92.23 million, the unaudited financial results showed.
The sales grew to EGP 805.87 million in the nine-month period ended 31 March, compared to EGP 773.3 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
The profit growth was ascribed to higher local sales and exports of products.
During the first six months of FY20/21, the company reported net profits of EGP 67 million, up from EGP 56.77 million in the prior-year period.
