Halwani Bros’ H1-21 profits shrink 8%

Riyadh – Mubasher: Halwani Bros Company posted an 8.3% decline in net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 51.64 million in the first half (H1) of 2021.

Earnings per share amounted to SAR 1.46 in H1-21, compared to SAR 1.59 in H1-20, according to the income statements on Sunday.

Sales decreased 0.4% to SAR 555.2 million in H1-21 from SAR 557.54 million in H1-20.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, the company achieved a rise of 1.19% in net profits to SAR 26.24 million from SAR 25.93 million in Q2-20.

Revenues decreased by 1.3% to SAR 268.62 million in Q2-21 from SAR 272.39 million in Q2-20.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were 3.3% higher than SAR 25.4 million in Q2-21, while the sales shrank by 6% from SAR 286.58 million.
