Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The shareholders of Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) approved the board’s recommendation to pay out AED 69.89 million as cash dividends for 2022.
The UAE-based firm will disburse a dividend of 10 fils per share, representing 10% of the share nominal value, according to a bourse disclosure.
Meanwhile, the ex-dividend and last payment dates will be 10 March and 1 April 2023, respectively.
It is worth noting that the shareholders greenlighted the cash dividends during the general assembly meeting on 1 March 2023.
In the January-December 2022 period, GMPC registered net profits attributable to the owners of AED 36.60 million, higher than AED 35.58 million in 2021.
Revenues amounted to AED 503.83 million last year, up from AED 486.83 million as of 31 December 2021, according to the consolidated financial results.
The basic earnings per share (EPS) edged up to AED 0.052 in 2022 from AED 0.051 in 2021, while the total assets declined to AED 1.29 billion from AED 1.30 billion.
