Cairo – Mubasher: Al Ezz for Ceramics and Porcelain (GEMMA) reported a 118.35% year-on-year profit leap during the first nine months of 2019, the company's unaudited results showed.
Net profits surged to EGP 42.05 million in the January-September period from EGP 19.26 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.
In the meantime, revenues increased to EGP 907.691 million in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 787.609 million in the year-ago period.
It is noteworthy that during the first half of 2019, the company logged a net profit of EGP 22.4 million, up from EGP 17.16 million in H1-18.
