GCC markets likely to rise on Monday – Analysts

By: Mahmoud Gamal

Mubasher: Institutional and foreign investors have started to exit positions at the Gulf markets, performing purchases at both the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and Boursa Kuwait which were endorsed to rise on Sunday, Analysts told Mubasher.

The GCC markets are expected to continue their sideways upward performance on Monday, analysts added.

Trading at the Gulf markets saw mixed performance at the beginning of the week, with profit taking activity in Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and the UAE markets, and rebounds in the Saudi and Kuwaiti bourses, capital market expert ElSayed Hassan said.

The GCC markets will remain at a normal rise and fall state in the coming period until leading companies start disclosing their financial statements for the fourth quarter, capital market analyst Muhammad Al-Azmi said.
