Riyadh — Mubasher: First Milling Company (First Mills) began the commercial operations at its new flour mill in the Al Qassim branch on 2 August 2026.
The launch follows the company obtaining the final operating license from the General Food Security Authority.
The new facility has a daily production capacity of 600 tons, which is equivalent to approximately 201,000 tons annually. This expansion raises the total daily milling capacity at the Al Qassim branch to 1,500 tons.
The company stated that the project is designed to enhance overall production capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and meet rising market demand while supporting geographical expansion into promising regions.
Management expects the financial impact of the new mill to begin appearing in First Mills’ financial results starting from the third quarter (Q3) of 2026. This development aligns with the company's strategic objectives to strengthen its market position within the Saudi food security sector.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, First Mills logged net profits valued at SAR 146.03 million, an annual growth of 11.42% from SAR 131.07 million.
