Dubai – Mubasher: The profits of Emirates NBD jumped by 11% year-on-year (YoY) during the first half (H1) of 2022 to stand at AED 5.3 billion, the highest since 2019. This is compared to AED 4.78 billion in H1-21.
Total income amounted to AED 14.2 billion during H1-22, an increase of 23% from AED 11.5 billion in H1-21, according to a stock exchange filing on Thursday.
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the bank’s profits totalled AED 3.5 billion, up by 42% YoY.
During Q1-22, the lender logged higher profits by 18% at AED 2.70 billion, compared with AED 2.30 billion in Q1-21.
