Emaar Properties posts higher profits at AED 4.3bn in H1-22

Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties has reported net profits attributable to the owners worth AED 4.30 billion during the first half (H1) of 2022, higher than AED 1.56 billion in H1-21.

Revenues amounted to AED 13.57 billion in the first six months (6M) of 2022, up from AED 12.35 billion in the year-ago period, according to the income statements.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at AED 0.53 in H1-22, versus AED 0.22 in H1-21.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the UAE-based firm posted a hike in net profit attributable to the shareholders to AED 2.06 billion, compared to AED 903.68 million in Q2-21.

The company’s sales went up to AED 6.93 billion in Q2-22 from AED 6.43 billion during April-June 2021. Meanwhile, the basic and diluted EPS rose to AED 0.25 in Q2-22 from AED 0.14 in Q2-21.

In January-March 2022, the property developer logged net profits attributable to the owners worth AED 2.23 billion, an annual leap of 241% from AED 656.86 million.
