Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits of Electro Cable Egypt hiked to EGP 71.53 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to EGP 9 million in the year-ago period.
The company generated revenues of around EGP 1.06 billion in Q1-22, up from EGP 432.66 million in the same period of 2021, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
As for the standalone businesses, the company's net profits increased to EGP 24.03 million in the January-March period of 2022 from EGP 1.06 million in the corresponding period of 2021.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company reported EGP 224.62 million net profits, higher than EGP 133.5 million in 2020.
