Egypt’s stock market ends Thursday’s session up

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green zone, with the EGX30 main index up 1.43% to 20,080.57 points.

Both the EGX70 EWI and the EGX100 EWI ended the trading session higher by 0.76% at 3,828.64 points and by 0.91% at 5,675.19 points, respectively.

The trading value hit EGP 1.97 billion through the exchange of 624.71 million shares, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.35 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 22.04 million and EGP 12.80 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 34.84 million.
