Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's middle-income sector is not interested in buying smart homes, said Jihad Al Sawaftah, Deputy Chairman at Talaat Moustafa Group Holding.
Middle class has no sufficient purchasing power to buy the smart homes, added Al Sawaftah on the sideline of Cityscape Egypt exhibition.
Egypt has witnessed recently number of trials to develop smart homes not smart cities, due to the high cost and the difficulty of constructing the latter, noted Sawaftah.
