Egypt bourse opens in green on foreign buying

Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Wednesday’s open by 0.11% to the level of 12,996.73 points.

By 10:02am Cairo time, the EGX70, EGX50, and EGX100 indices advanced 0.58%, 0.19%, and 0.40%, respectively.

Trading volume reached 13.29 million shares exchanged through 1,900 transactions, with a turnover of EGP 58.8 million.

Domty ascended 1.97%, Arabia Investments grew 1.96%, and AMOC levelled up 1.61%.

On the flipside, Porto Holding declined 3.7%, Amer shrank 3.23%, and HADISOLB retreated 1.26%.

Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 1.2 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 411,600 and EGP 922,200, respectively.
