Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Aluminum posted a year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit after tax to EGP 3.69 billion during fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, compared to EGP 2.50 billion.
The revenues amounted to EGP 22.04 billion during the July 2022- June 2023 period, up from EGP 14.48 billion in FY21/22, according to the financial statements.
Basic earnings per share (EPS) increased to EGP 5.19 in FY22/23 from EGP 3.52 a year earlier.
In the first nine months (9M) of FY22/23, the company witnessed YoY higher net profits after tax at EGP 3.91 billion, versus EGP 1.68 billion.
The sales widened to EGP 14.75 billion in 9M-22/23 from EGP 10.76 billion in 9M-21/22, while the EPS climbed to EGP 5.51 from EGP 2.37.
