Cairo – Mubasher: The shareholders of Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) greenlighted a dividend distribution of EGP 0.50 per share for 2022, according to a bourse filing.
The company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM), which was held on 22 March 2023, agreed to disburse cash dividends accounting for 5% of the paid-up capital.
Last year, EMPC achieved consolidated net profits after tax of EGP 272.04 million, higher by 98.24% than EGP 137.22 million in the January-December 2021 period.
Revenues enlarged by 26.70% to EGP 666.50 million in 2022 from EGP 526.06 million in 2021, whereas the basic earnings per share (EPS) widened by 98.24% to EGP 1.29 from EGP 0.65.
