EGX ends in Tuesday in green on foreign purchases

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session on a positive note on the back of foreign purchases.

The main EGX30 index increased by 0.31%, ending the mid-week session at 11,485 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 0.77% to 2,278 points.

Likewise, the EGX100 EWI advanced by 0.66% to 3,271 points, whereas the EGX50 EWI rose by 0.27% to 2,311 points.

The market cap value grew by EGP 3.3 billion to close at EGP 683.184 billion.

Foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 59.94 million, while local and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 36.73 million and EGP 23.21 million, respectively.
