Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday higher, as the EGX30 main index rose by 2.33% to 15,989.18 points.
The EGX50 EWI also increased by 3.15% to 2,751.43 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 2.52% at 2,835.03 points and by 2.70% at 4,217.17 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.68 billion after 403.75 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 1.02 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 96.10 million and EGP 12.32 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 108.42 million.
