Mubasher: Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex Co achieved a growth of 60.1% in profits during the fourth quarter of 2016, compared to the same period in 2015.
Earnings increased to BHD 2.93 million ($7.67 million) in Q4-16 from BHD 1.83 million ($4.79 million) in Q4-15, according to a bourse filing issued on Tuesday.
During fiscal year 2016, profits shrank by 6.8% to total BHD 8.33 million from BHD 8.94 million in FY15.
Earnings per share reached 64 fils in FY16 from 69 fils in FY15.
Board members recommended a dividend of 60%, as 50% cash dividends and 10% bonus shares.
