Mubasher: Dhofar Insurance posted on Sunday a net loss of OMR 3.48 million ($9 million) for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016, against a net profit of OMR 532,570 ($1.38 million) for Q3-15.
Net losses for the first nine months of the year reached OMR 6.47 million, compared to a net profit of OMR 825,170 for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.
Investment Income amounted to OMR 3.55 million for the nine-month period, versus OMR 2.68 million for the same period last year.
The company earlier reported a net loss of OMR 2.99 million for the first half of 2016, against a net profit of OMR 292,600 for H1-15.
