Delta Insurance posts EGP 140m consolidated net profits in H1-21/22

Cairo - Mubasher: The consolidated net profits after tax of Delta Insurance increased by 3.6% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 140.22 million in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, compared to EGP 135.27 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.

The insurer’s earnings per share stood at EGP 3.7 in H1 of FY 21/22, against EGP 3.5 in the same period a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure.

Revenues grew to EGP 164.78 million in  July-December 2021 from EGP 146.84 million in the corresponding period of FY20/21.

As for the standalone business, the company’s net profits after tax declined to EGP 58.51 million in H1-21/22, compared to EGP 76.73 million in July-December 2020.

The standalone revenues amounted to EGP 69.91 million in H1-21/22, down from EGP 83.62 million in the same period a year earlier.
