Dana Gas, Iran still in talks over gas imports

By: Ramy Sameeh

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi-listed Dana Gas is still in discussions with Iran to settle the dispute concerning natural gas imports into the UAE, CEO Patrick Allman-Ward said.

“The company has not reached an acceptable deal with Iran,” he said, adding that “an arbitration process will continue”.

Dana Gas’s is total production would be equivalent to over 64,000 per day, Allman-Ward added.

National Iranian Oil Co. and Dana's subsidiary Crescent Petroleum inked a 25-year contract in 2001 for Iran to deliver gas to the UAE, with the price linked to oil.
