DFM, ADX close Thursday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 3.99 points (0.09%)on Thursday and ended the trading session lower at 4,163.34 points.

A total of 223.65 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 592.08 million.

Emaar Properties registered the highest trading value of AED 96.14 million, while GFH Financial Group was the most active stock with 42.14 million shares.

National General Insurance Company led the risers with 10.05%, whereas Agility Public Warehousing headed the fallers with 10%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also fell by 0.039% to 9,041.51 points.

The ADX’s turnover hit AED 992.28 million through the exchange of 392.74 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.77 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 197.95 million, whereas Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 94.04 million shares.

Manazel Real Estate Company advanced the gainers with 14.71%, while Invictus Investment Company headed the losers with 7.08%.
