Cairo – Mubasher: The Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) saw its stock plunge sharply to its lowest level in 28 months.
By 11:00 a.m., the heavyweight stock declined by 2.1% to EGP 54.06, its lowest level since December 2018.
About 752,400 shares were exchanged at a turnover EGP 40.13 million.
The EGX30 index dropped by 1% to 10,345 points, while the EGX70 EWI fell by 0.71% to 1,955 points.
The market’s turnover registered EGP 250.4 million, while the trading volume reached 132.4 million shares.
