Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Bank Albilad recommended cash dividends after Zakat worth SAR 500 million, representing 5% of the capital, for 2022.
Under the board’s proposal which was determined on 29 December 2022, the lender would disburse SAR 0.50 per share for 1 billion eligible shares, according to a bourse disclosure.
Meanwhile, the distribution date for the dividends will be announced at a later time.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, Bank Albilad reported net profits worth SAR 1.54 billion, an annual growth of 22.52% from SAR 1.25 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.55 during January-September 2022, higher than SAR 1.26 in the year-ago period.
Additionally, the clients’ deposits increased by 14.01% to SAR 93.88 billion in 9M-22 from SAR 82.34 billion in 9M-21.
