Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse rose at Sunday’s close by 0.29% or 3.46 points to the level of 1,215.21 points.
The commercial banks sector advanced 0.46%, backed by an increase of 1.08% in Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait and 0.76% in Ahli United Bank.
However, Khaleeji Commercial Bank topped the red list after falling by 0.98%. The stock made the biggest trading volume activity with 1.26 million shares.
The services sector levelled up 0.34% due to a rise of 0.72% in Batelco.
Meanwhile, the hotel and tourism sector dropped 0.52% due to a decrease of 0.79% in Gulf Hotels.
Trading volume declined to 2.53 million shares from 8.86 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also decreased to BHD 960,860 from BHD 1.7 million.
