Cairo - Mubasher: Arabian Cement Co has achieved net profits after tax of EGP 58.85 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, against net losses of EGP 6.33 million in the year-ago period.
The company's revenues hiked to EGP 1.06 billion in Q1-22, compared to EGP 432.44 million in the same period of 2021, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
As for the standalone businesses, the company recorded net profits of EGP 53.28 million in the January-March period of 2022, against net losses of EGP 4.39 million in the corresponding period of 2021.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company's net profits amounted to EGP 34.18 million, against net losses of EGP 122.78 million in 2020.
