Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Co posted a 24.1% year-on-year decline in its net profits during fiscal year 2018/2019, according to the company's financial indicators.
Net profits reached EGP 1.85 billion from July 2018 to last June, compared to EGP 2.44 billion in the same period a year earlier, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.
Year-on-year, revenues slid to EGP 2.88 billion in the 12-month period ended 30 June from EGP 3 billion.
From July 2018 to last April, the company logged a net profit of EGP 1.5 billion, compared to EGP 1.9 billion in the year-ago period.
